Autism

We provide Autism assessments for people aged 6-90 years, which is used to assess and identify children and adult's neurotype and determine potential additional need for support. This process typically includes clinical interviews, behavioral observations, standardized tests, and input from family members, caregivers, and teachers. An autism assessment is a supportive and individualized process designed to understand how a person experiences the world. Through observation, conversation, and gathering information from family or caregivers, the assessment highlights strengths and areas where the person might need additional support.

For prospective NDIS clients, we also will provide assistance applying for NDIS, completing relevant medical evidence forms, and supporting the client and/or parent to access carer payments if needed.
Assessment package costs can vary depending on the scope and what it involves:
ASD assessment cost: $2892.50 (13 hours)
ASD and ADHD cost: $3560 (16 hours)
ASD and Cognitive assessment: $3782.50 (17 hours)
ADHD

We provide ADHD assessments for people aged 6-90 years, which are used to assess and understand someone's executive functioning and ability to sustain attention. Assessments involve clinical interviews with the client and carer, information gathered from school teachers and/or background reports, a series of online psychometric tests, and cognitive testing to understand any inherent cognitive strengths and weaknesses that may be contributing to difficulties.
Important: Psychologist's are not psychiatrists can cannot prescribe medication for ADHD. If you are primarily interested in medication, we recommend you go directly to a paediatrician or psychiatrist for an assessment for ADHD. Our ADHD assessments are recommended if you are interested in understanding more deeply the strengths and weaknesses in cognitive and executive functioning in different contexts, and are interested in tailored recommendations for school and/or work.

Cognitive and Learning

We provide cognitive and learning assessments for individuals aged 6-90 years to evaluate their cognitive abilities and learning strengths and weaknesses. The assessment examines your cognitive potential through the cognitive evaluation and compares it to your learning in various domains, and identifies what age or year level you are in various areas (e.g., language, reading, writing, math, spelling, etc.).

This assessment is helpful to identify areas for improvement to inform ILPs, offers recommendations for learning, and can also determine if there are any underlying specific learning disorders (SLDs), such as dyslexia, that may be affecting learning.

Cognitive and Functional

The cognitive and functional assessments (for individuals aged 6-90 years) are designed to explore and understand a person's cognitive abilities and adaptive skills. These assessments help identify any underlying developmental delays or intellectual disabilities, which are important for supporting applications for NDIS or school funding. Additionally, they can also be used to identify giftedness.
The assessment involves clinical interviews with client and carers, online psychometric surveys, and a cognitive assessment to understand any inherent cognitive strengths and weaknesses in their cognitive profile.
Assessments also include assistance applying for NDIS, completing relevant medical evidence forms, and supporting the client and/or parent to access carer payments if needed.

NDIS Progress and Recommendations

If you are a current NDIS participant and are looking for an updated assessment of your capacity and recommendations for funding, this option could be best for you. This assessment involves looking at someone's background information, past diagnoses, and current environment and adaptive functioning, to more closely examine how someone's disability is currently impacting on their day to day living. This report provides tailored recommendations that can be used to inform NDIS funding. It can also re-affirm any previously identified diagnoses, (if appropriate) and provide evidence of continuing disability. This assessment can be completed entirely online if needed.

Cost: $1335 (6 hours)
Non-verbal Cognition

For children and adults who are nonverbal, nonspeaking, or if there are complicating factors that impact language (e.g., language disorders, English is not the primary language) we offer Non-verbal Cognitive Assessments (for children aged 6-90 years). This is a shorter form of our typical cognitive assessment, and can generate a non-verbal intelligence score to inform recommendations and need for support.

Clinical Supervision

Zorah is an AHPRA board-approved supervisor in the area of Clinical psychology. She can provide supervision for provisional psychologists working toward their general registration, or clinical registrar's working toward clinical endorsement. This can be provided face to face or online. Cost for this varies depending in the psychologist is provisional or fully registered (discounted for current provisional psychologists).
